Take a free tram to Fringe and Adelaide Festival venues
It’s that time again when Adelaide comes alive for the Adelaide Fringe and Adelaide Festival – and Adelaide Metro wants to help you get there and enjoy yourself!
From 18 February until 20 March, Adelaide Metro will be running free public transport to and from the city from midday Friday, all day Saturday, and all day Sunday until midnight.
Not only that, but there will be an extra free tram service operating throughout the city to help you get between venues and get your Festival on!
During the Festival period, the ADLOOP tram service will operate every Friday and Saturday evening, plus Sunday 13 March on the Adelaide Cup long weekend, in addition to regular services.
The ADLOOP service will depart every 20 minutes. Trams will travel in a clockwise direction between South Terrace, along King William Street to Festival Plaza, then along North Terrace to the Botanic Gardens, before travelling back along North Terrace and King William Street to South Terrace.
Look for the specially marked ADLOOP trams which will also display their destination as Festival Plaza, Botanic Gardens or South Terrace. Timetables for these special trams are available at every platform along the ADLOOP route and are also available on the Adelaide Metro website.
